The evening’s event took place on 21st November 2018 inside the BMW Landshut plant near Munich; a venue described as BMW’s innovation hub for components and innovative solutions.
RA was proud to be a part of the evening of awards, entertainment and dinner in recognition of BMW Group’s global network of 3,200 suppliers, celebrating the important role they play in implementing new global innovations and developments.
Mike Theaker said:
“It was a great honour to be selected for this prestigious event held in the heart of the impressive Landshut Lightweight Technology and Construction Centre. As the home of composite panel and structural manufacturing for the new BMW 8 series, the passion for innovation that the venue embodies was impressively displayed through the innovative design and production technology showcased in the vehicle demonstrations during the event.
It was a fantastic evening, enjoyed by all who attended in celebration of BMW suppliers.
Many thanks must go BMW AG for organising the event, along with BMW MG-4 and Michael Frey who nominated RA based upon the co-operation we’ve enjoyed between our companies over many years.”
The BMW Supplier Innovation Awards ceremony saw 15 suppliers recognised for their achievements, with a winner selected from each of the following categories: Productivity, Sustainability, Efficient Dynamics, Digitalisation and Emotional Experience.
